Bathurst Rotary Club

One $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a BHS student who intends to pursue studies at any post-secondary institution.  Also a $500 scholarship in Memory of Wilbur Elhatton will be awarded to a BHS or ESN student in 2022. (Please note you only have to submit one application.)
​Qualifications:
  1. Students must be graduates of Bathurst High School for the current year of application.
  2. Any Bathurst High School graduate is eligible regardless of field of study or post-secondary school.
  3. The award will be based academic achievement in high school as well as school and or community involvement.
  4. The award is tenable at any post-secondary institution including community college or university, providing attendance is full-time.
  5. Financial need will be taken into consideration.
  6. Preference may be given to a child or grandchild of the Bathurst Rotary Club Member as long as the other qualifications are met.
Please send two reference letters to the Rotary Scholarship Committee.

    Do not count school events
    For more than 110 years, Rotary’s guiding principles have been the foundation of our values: service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. Explain what this means to you and how you may have lived by some of these values already.
    This could be from BHS or awards and achievements outside of school during the past 4 years.
