A single scholarship of $1000 is awarded annually to a student who is entering into a first responders field of study to become a Firefighter, Paramedic or Police Officer.
Students who are not considering these as a career, need not apply.
In the case of a candidate who is entering the field of firefighters, if that individual is not of age upon graduation from high school, the scholarship will be granted upon recognition of acceptance into the program. Candidates for either the paramedic or policing careers will receive the scholarship upon the commencement of their second semester.

- state their intentions/desires as to why they have chosen this career path
- include past\present volunteer experience (if any).
- include the name of the institution to which you have applied.
- supply 2 letters of reference; if possible, one should be from a volunteer organization.
